From an Instagram comment to four orders in five months
One shopper's path from a comment on a reel to buying for herself, then for three other people. What the funnel actually looked like.

Fatima commented "price?" on a reel in February. That's the least committed a shopper can possibly be. She has since ordered four times and sent three friends.
Sixteen days, not sixteen minutes
We replied with the price. She didn't buy. She came back eleven days later to ask whether the strap was adjustable, didn't buy, then ordered five days after that.
That gap is the whole lesson. Treating a "price?" comment as a lost sale because it didn't convert that day is how most small stores throw away their best customers.
What she actually wanted to know
Not the price. Reading the messages back, the real questions were: is it big enough for a phone and a wallet, will the strap fit over a coat, and is this the actual colour. The price was just the easiest thing to type.
We now answer all three in the product description, unprompted.
The referrals
Three of her friends ordered after seeing the bag in person. None of them found us through Instagram. Word of mouth in Islamabad is doing work that no ad spend replicated — which is why the reviews page exists and why we ask.
What we changed because of this
- Strap drop measurements on every product page
- A photo of every colourway in daylight, not studio light
- We answer "price?" with the price and the two follow-up questions
